SAW Workshops:

SAW has created several workshops ranging in length from 1 1/2 to 6 hours. Each workshop is highly interactive and includes brief presentations, small and large group conversation, and periods of individual reflection. Workshops developed to date include:
  • Spirituality at Work: a Conversation Waiting to Happen: Learn strategies for initiating and facilitating spirituality at work conversations in your own workplace or faith community
  • Collaborative Inquiry: Explore one action-reflection strategy for effecting workplace transformation
  • Soul-making at Work: Experiment with several techniques aimed at helping integrate spirit and work.

In addition, SAW can work with your organization or community to develop presentations and materials appropriate for your own context. E-mail us at whitney@spiritualityatwork.com.

SAW Retreats:

SAW can also offer half-day "mini-retreats" which give participants a chance to reflect privately and with others about such things as the meaning of their work, the role their own spirituality might play in that work, and how they might integrate spirit and work more effectively. On one such mini-retreat, entitled Silicon Valley Unplugged, for example, participants worked individually with several spiritual practices to discern the deeper meaning of their life and work. Opportunities were also provided for participants to reflect communally on their experience. Another retreat combined individual spiritual practice with opportunities for exploring ways in which participants might create on-going spirituality and work conversation.

We can work with you and your group to plan a retreat of any length. E-mail us at whitney@spiritualityatwork.com.
